A Cold Day on King’s Tor

Dartmoor National Park

by David Gibbeson

King’s Tor is one of the tors that I need to revisit on Dartmoor. The last time I was there, I got wet feet which wasn’t pleasant as the weather was freezing at the time! I like the tree on this one but think that I could capture it better. There is still something that I like about it though. As a photographer I have definitely come to appreciate that there are good photos to be had with work in any weather or light conditions. For a while I would always want the perfect clouds or time of day! I now just wish that I had enough time to photograph more locations on Dartmoor and around the southwest of England.
